R & G Welcomes Janice Galyean as New Client Relations Manager

25 July, 2005

Janice Galyean has been appointed Client Relations Manager for R & G Medical Consultants, Inc. and Global Legal Solutions, L.L.C. Rosie Oldham, President of R & G, recently made this announcement in July. "The newly formed position is in response to the rapid growth R & G as a whole is experiencing. We needed someone who not only understands the nuances of the medical-legal litigation support industry," Oldham says, "but also displays initiative in sales development, strategic planning skills and exemplary customer service. Janice has all those skill sets, plus the leadership, teamwork, and relationship-building qualities necessary to be successful in this role." Oldham adds. "Everyone at R & G is excited she has joined our team."

R & G recently moved to a larger building to accommodate the growth in business, including the newest core competency service record retrieval and document scanning. Galyean will oversee the sales efforts in this area as well as any new business opportunities that develop at R & G. Equally important, Janice will determine and respond to client feedback to ensure their experience(s) with R & G have met, or continues to meet their needs. Galyean has a well rounded understanding of both the medical-legal and record retrieval industries. Working as a legal nurse consultant since 2000, she was most recently employed with a prominent Phoenix law firm. In addition, Galyean has an extensive background in nursing, serving in various clinical settings since 1992.

"It is a natural fit," says Galyean, "I couldn't be more pleased to join such a dynamic firm, especially one that demonstrates being on the fast track as the industry leader." Galyean states her primary role as Client Relations Manager will be relationship building with both the existing clients and with the expanding client base. Many clients have been with R & G for years. Galyean believes this is because of the high integrity level of the company and the true desire for quality customer service. "If you add old- fashioned values with progressive thinking, it equals success for the company, the associates and the clients. It is a win-win situation."

Galyean will represent R & G at conferences and assist the legal, pharmaceutical and insurance industries with their medical-legal litigation support needs. Successful Technical Nurse Consulting Results in 18 Million Dollar Verdict

30 November, 2001

Using InData Director Suite software in the recent trial of Guerrero v. Republic Silver State Disposal, Department 19 - District Court of Las Vegas, Nevada, R & G Medical Consultants provided technical nurse consulting to the plaintiff firm of Benson, Bertoldo and Baker.

On 12/12/01, John Bertoldo stated, "Rosie Oldham and her associates were an integral part of our team in achieving our recent 18 million dollar verdict. Their timely and expert assistance in both medical issues and technical demonstrative evidence allowed us to capture the jury for opening statements, expert testimony and closing arguments."

Rosie Oldham, BS, RN, LNCC, stated "Trial Director software is powerful and smooth in displaying exhibits and proved to be very reliable during trial. We used various exhibits including anatomical graphics, documents, timelines, extensive tabular financial documents, and video clips of physiological states such as an animation of neuron activity in the brain. Pictures of the plaintiff before and after the accident were profoundly effective in showing the extent of her damages. The jurors were very attentive during plaintiff testimony due to the use of technical exhibits and much less attentive during defense testimony."

During post verdict discussion with some of the jurors', it was stated that they "enjoyed learning" about the anatomy and pathophysiology of the brain. They could understand the information presented about the accident in which Ms. Guerrero, at 19 years of age suffered severe traumatic brain injury, 3rd cranial nerve damage affecting the right eye and right TMJ injury. One juror stated in post verdict discussions, that she felt that "they know all about brain injury now."

Graphics were also used to show defendant's liability including the accident photos in which sections were enlarged while projected on the exhibit screen showing the damage to the plaintiff's crushed car. R & G Medical Consultants also created and presented a scrolling timeline depicting the 19 citations of the defendant truck driver in the year prior to the accident. He was driving the massive roll off disposal truck that struck the back of Ms. Guerrero's Geo. The defendant driver stated he never saw the plaintiff's vehicle.

"Using technical nurse consultants in this trial allowed us to educate the jury as to the nature and severity of the brain damage in a technical manner which gave them a basis to reward tremendous financial damages", John Bertoldo, Benson, Bertoldo & Baker, Las Vegas, Nevada.
